CGA evening with UVI

Fernande van Schelle, Chair of CGA, with members of UVI

The Calne Girls’ Association hosted an informal evening with members of UVI on Friday evening – to introduce the CGA and what is to be a ‘Calne Alumnae’.  With drinks and snacks, kindly sponsored by the CGA,  it was a great chance to talk more about life after St Mary’s and the opportunities to network with fellow alumnae, attend future reunions and events as well as the many ways to keep in touch.

Fernande van Schelle, Chair of the CGA spoke about her time at Calne and how much she values her St Mary’s friendships and the chance to regularly meet up – she had greatly enjoyed her 20 year Reunion earlier this summer and seeing so many of her year group again.

Caroline Wrench introduce Calne Connected, the CGA website and hub, and showed pupils how to update their records and explore the many areas of the site including the mentoring & networking database of alumnae who are able to support work experience and mentoring requests, details of reunions and keeping up to date with school news.

The CGA very much look forward to welcoming the soon-to-be leavers of 2023 and keeping in touch!
