The Marchioness of Lansdowne is Patron of the Calne Foundation Trust and a longstanding supporter of charitable and community initiatives across Wiltshire.
Lady Lansdowne trained as an interior designer at the Inchbald School of Design and worked for Colefax and Fowler before establishing her own interior design business. Together with her husband, the Marquess of Lansdowne, she has overseen the restoration and development of Bowood House and Gardens.
Lady Lansdowne was appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire in 2019 and served as High Sheriff of Wiltshire for 2022–2023. Since 2022, she has also served as one of Queen Camilla’s Queen’s Companions.
As Patron of the Calne Foundation Trust, Lady Lansdowne supports the Trust’s work to create opportunities for young people and secure a strong future for St Mary’s Calne and St Margaret’s Preparatory School. She also sponsors the annual Calne Foundation Trust Cup, which recognises pupils at St Margaret’s who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to a charitable cause.
