We are delighted to have renewed a plaque in memory of Elinor Green (1977 - 1995) to mark a specially planted tree.

Her friends, led by Kate Hannay, chose this special text as a tribute, which was written by Elinor as part of a poem.  Elinor's friends also completed an amazing fundraising hike last year, raising £26,000 for Macmillan Cancer Care and in memory of her.  To read more about this incredible achievement, please click here

The plaque reads : "I've run along on life's long path but we all follow where it leads" Elinor Green 1977 - 1995.  Planted in Elinor's memory by her friends (1995 Leavers).  Kindly supported by The Calne Girls' Association"
