Last Friday, LVI netballers were treated to a night out at Bath University to cheer on Team Bath as they went up against Manchester Thunder in their last home fixture of the Netball Super League. Bath are 8th in the league and Manchester are 4th so it was expected to be great match - and what a match it was! It was a physical and mental battle that Team Bath lost in the final moments of the last quarter. What a nail-biter!
It was a fantastic opportunity to see an impressive level of skill and team-playing, and showed us how fast-paced and feisty netball is at that level. The game certainly gave us all inspiration for the oncoming netball season.
We were also very excited to meet (and take a photo with!) with Sacha Corbin, ex-England player and now London Pulse player, the sister of Kadeen Corbin who came to coach us at school last term.
