On Saturday evening, around 50 of our UIV, LV and LVI students had a fantastic time at a barn dance social and BBQ with Winchester College, hosted here in Calne.
As you’ll see, lots of people dressed the part with straw hats and cowboy boots, and had a fun time learning a different style of dance and interacting with the Winchester boys. The girls were swinging around their partners in the circle waltz and the do-si-do. This was followed by a BBQ break, with Mrs Visser and Mr Hilton as ‘Chief BBQers’, in the late evening sunshine, before everyone dashed back into the Theatre for some more dancing!
The whole evening was high energy and full of fun; they all returned to the house exhausted at the end of the evening.
