On what was undoubtedly the hottest day of June and possibly of the whole summer, the Founders’ Day Marquee was rapidly transformed from a prize giving tent into a sensational “Secret Garden” for the annual UVI leaver’s Lily Ball.
58 girls along with their families and friends, and various members of staff, enjoyed pre-dinner prosecco and canapés ahead of a delicious sit down two-course dinner. Tables were strewn with pastel multi coloured napkins, breath-taking floral decorations of varying heights and sizes and twinkling candles. Dinner gave way to dancing and the exceptional Will Blake band ensured that the dance floor was packed until midnight when the leavers of 2019 were swept off to their after party to start the fun all over again.
