Reunions & Events |
We were delighted to welcome back Catherine Spencer (Blades, 1972 Leaver), Alexandra Clifton-Brown (Peto-Shepherd, 1972 Leaver), Anne Lawson (Wrangham, 1964 Leaver), Suzie Hoare (Dobree, 1973 Leaver) and Vicky Wilson (Richardson, 1968 Leaver) on Thursday 29th September.
Although the weather was a little grey, we took a long tour around the grounds, boarding houses, classrooms and buildings including the new Library as well as the beautiful Lime Kiln Garden. Standing under the new pavilion, everyone enjoyed looking at the autumn colours and textures of the garden as well as the bronze sculptures and Lime Kiln and recounted many strories of their time at St Mary's.
Afternoon Tea was served in the Oratory Library and we enjoyed more memories of dorm antics, weekly hairwashing and sausage slush suppers!
We hope to organise another garden tour in the Spring - please do get in touch if you'd like more information.
