Regional Drinks - Amesbury

On a gorgeous evening in June, we gathered to celebrate our Anniversary and enjoy LVI musical performances

In June, we hosted another very enjoyable Regional Drinks Party with Kate & Dom Fry (current parents at both St Mary's and St Margaret's) at their beautiful home in historic Avebury.  It had been a scorching hot day and guests were able to enjoy the shady terrace and cool drawing room as well as walking around the garden as the heat faded.

To entertain our guests, our Director of Vocal Studies, Mrs Bethan Dudley-Fryar, accompanied LVI pupils, Izzy & Elowen, on the piano, as the girls sang a beautiful piece from Wicked. Dr Kirk and Cate Bell also spoke and shared updates on the 150th Anniversary as well as encouraging guests to join the 150 Society and support the Chrysalis Campaign.

As the evening progressed, Daisy, Amber, Izzy & Elowen (LVI) passed around delicious canapes and enjoyed talking to guests about their studies and school activities.  It was very good to see a number of former staff as well as parents, alumnae and friends of St Mary’s and these occasions are proving to be a wonderful way of reconnecting and catching up with old friends and colleagues as well as meeting current parents and pupils.

Very many thanks to Dom & Kate Fry for being such generous hosts.
