Alumnae News |
We are delighted to see Lady Venetia Baring (2017 Leaver) on the front cover of the March issue of Tatler Magazine as well as her brilliant interview inside. Venetia talks about her creative work, modelling, family life and future plans and also about her time at Calne.
Despite a rocky start at Calne (all the teething problems of being the new kid on the block), Venetia describes her time there as ‘the best seven years’ of her life. Calne gave her a grounding that her fractured family life hadn’t. ‘Being at boarding school was like a never-ending sleepover with my friends,’ she says. ‘My friends from Calne are like my family.’
Many congratulations on the piece and we wish Venetia lots of luck with her future plans - and hopefully coming back to Calne in the future to share her some of her stories with our senior girls!
