Lovely to hear from Sassie Patel (2017 Leaver) of her ambition to run in next year's London Marathon.

Lovely to hear from Sassie Patel (2017 Leaver) of her ambition to run in next year's London Marathon :

"I also wanted to share some news, that I am running the London Marathon in April 2024 for Samaritan's. I've really got into my running since moving to London; it's a brilliant way to clear the head, stay fit, discover new places and connect with friends and new people. I'm running in memory of my Dad, Viren, who passed away just before Jess and I started at St Mary's in 2010. Our family will never forget how kind the St Mary's team were, including Mr Rothwell and Dr Wright were to us, and let Jess and I join the school with our Music Scholarships, half way through LIV due to the circumstances. Jess and I felt so welcomed from our very first day and this is something we'll never forget. I've created this fundraising page where you can read more about why and what I'm doing: https://2024tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/saskia-patel  "

Good luck Sassie!
