As part of this very special year, we wish to celebrate the important role of the Delscey Burns Theatre and its history, and to showcase some of the great dramatic and musical performances at Calne. 

ENCORE: a dramatic reunion of talent and friendship, is a special one-day event on Saturday 29th April 2023 with an evening performance, focussing on the theatre years of 1992-2013 when Miss Leadbetter was Director of Drama.

Talented performers, designers, thinkers and stage crews of this memorable creative period are invited to be part of amazing event. It will be an opportunity to relive your theatre days at Calne, reprise a leading role, take part in an ensemble or be a member of the audience and, of course, be with your friends.  

ENCORE will be ably led by Mrs Bethan Dudley Fryar (Director of Vocal Studies at Calne), with Miss Leadbetter returning as Guest of Honour. They will work together and present a wonderful evening – a showcase of short dramatic and musical highlights.
