Established in 2020, the Rassmuss Scholarship enabled a talented girl from the maintained sector, with particular potential in science, to join St Mary’s Calne in Year 7.
Subject to means-testing, the Scholarship provided a fully funded boarding place for a minimum of five years, with provision for the support to continue through the Sixth Form if the recipient chose to study science subjects at A Level.
The award also included an annual allowance to help meet the cost of uniform, school trips and other essential extras, ensuring that the recipient could participate fully in school life.
This life-changing opportunity was made possible through the generosity of the Rassmuss Foundation.
