Alumnae and Past Parents Celebrate 150th Anniversary in York

A delightful gathering took place on Tuesday 20th June, as Rachel and Michael Benson opened their doors in Yorkshire to host a 150th Anniversary Regional Lunch Party.

A delightful gathering took place on Tuesday 20th June, as Rachel and Michael Benson opened their doors in Yorkshire to host a 150th Anniversary Regional Lunch Party. This small gathering brought together a diverse group of individuals, spanning generations and sharing cherished memories of Calne.

A notable aspect of the gathering was the wide age range of attendees. The youngest guest, little Winnie, stole hearts at just 20 months old. At the other end of the age spectrum was an 87-year-old alumna, Pam, who recounted amusing stories and cherished memories of her time at Calne under Miss G.

Our thanks go to Rachel and Michael for kindly hosting this event which was one of a number of 150th Anniversary Celebrations taking place around the country.  For more information about future events, please click here.
